Pierre Fortin inducted as one of the Board of Trade's 2011 Great Montrealers

A recent article by Jennifer Cox in The Gazette celebrates the achievements of CIFAR's Pierre Fortin and applauds his induction into the Board of Trade's Academy of Great Montrealers. Pierre Fortin was one of four luminaries to receive the award, and he received it in the science sector. He is a professor, author and economics researcher, and one of the most well-known and accomplished economists in Quebec. He has also received many honours for his professional accomplishments and for his involvement in the community. Pierre Fortin is Chair of the Advisory Committee for our Social Interactions, Identity and Well-Being program, and is also a member of our Research Council and Board of Directors.Read more
