Mary is the Advancement Officer, Corporations & Foundations at CIFAR. Mary has dedicated her career to working for impact driven non-profits in capacity building and program development roles.
Formerly at eHealth Africa in Sierra Leone, Mary managed a multi-million dollar grant aimed at improving post-ebola disease surveillance and response systems in West Africa. She has also worked for the Digital Public Square Project, Global Solution Networks, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, and the Canadian Centre for Child Protection. Mary is a graduate of the Master of Global Affairs at the Munk School of Global Affairs, University of Toronto and has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba. In her spare time, Mary likes to sail and fosters cats from Toronto Cat Rescue.
