About

Rob Fergus is a computer scientist whose research is in the areas of computer vision, machine learning and computer graphics.

He assembles statistical models of images, both at the high level of objects and scenes and at the low level of pixels and edges. These models are then deployed in a variety of problems such as object recognition, image search and computational photography.
