The Science of Early Child Development (SECD) is an online resource for child development knowledge users that was started collaboratively between the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Department at Red River College and CIFAR.
CIFAR fellows provided key research insights and video interviews to populate the SECD, which formally launched in 2005. CIFAR’s contribution to the SECD has helped close this gap and the SECD is now being used by a variety of knowledge users including students, educators, professors and practitioners.
