Introducing the Future of Research
Three members of the inaugural group of CIFAR Azrieli Global Scholars spoke to an invited audience about their work and how their chosen fields are evolving at the 2017 CIFAR Fall Dinner.
They included Gabriella Schlau-Cohen on Uncovering Photosynthesis at the Nanoscale; Natalie Bau on The Economics of Culture; and Graham Taylor on Machines that Learn to Create Art and Text.
Introductory remarks were given by the Honourable Reza Moridi, Ontario’s Minister of Research, Innovation and Science, and the Honourable Kirsty Duncan, Canada’s Minister of Science.
