Over the last several years, Gabriel Kotliar’s research interests have included computational studies of correlated materials combining dynamical mean field theory with realistic electronic structure methods.


Recipient of the European Physical Society’s Agilent Technology Prize, 2006.

Appointed to the Pascal Chair at Ecole Polytechnique in France, 2006.

Guggenheim Fellowship, 2003.

Presidential Young Investigator Award, 1987-1992.

Alfred P. Sloan Research Fellowship, 1986-1988.
